Islet of Monte Argentario

Islet of Monte Argentario is an island in the Tyrrhenian Sea located in front of the south-eastern coast of Monte Argentario, south of the promontory of Rocca di Porto Ercole. It is the largest of the islands located off the Argentine promontory.

The islet has rocky coasts and is characterized by the presence of low spontaneous vegetation, mainly garigue, which offers the possibility of nesting to seagulls and other ornithological species.

The island, reachable only through private boats, is a characteristic place of immersion in the area.
