With electric power and fixed optics, the light is produced by a 1000 W halogen lamp, with a white flash every 5 seconds of the range of 16 nautical miles. The infrastructure is also equipped with a 100W reserve LABI lamp, which comes into operation in the event of a fault or malfunction of the main one, with a range of 11 nautical miles.<\/p>\n<p>The complex, dating back to 1883, was activated as a maritime semaphore by the Regia Marina for the lighting of the north-western tip of the Argentario promontory. Its current appearance was conferred by a restructuring that took place in 1926.<\/p>\n<p>The infrastructure consists of an octagonal tower in white masonry with internal gallery, which rises against the central part of the front facade of a building with a rectangular plan in red brick, on two levels, with pointed arched windows. in neo-gothic style on the second floor of the building, which in the past housed the homes of the guardians before its final automation.<\/p>\n<p>The top part of the tower forms the base of the tiburium of the circular metal gray lantern with a second-order Fresnel
